Through 2016, I’ve found myself working harder and creating more. Ever since participating in Inktober for 2015, I found the drive to keep drawing constantly. Over summer, I changed jobs and now I create illustrations full time. Despite geopolitical events, I’ve seen my own life change in positive ways through art.
For 2017, I hope to encourage other artists to find their own drive to keep working.
Now, more than ever, it’s important to be loud. It’s important to create what interests you, even if it seems like no one else cares. We’ve lost too many well known artists & beautiful people this past year, and it’s important we fill the void.
If you’re still here, I’m glad to have you. Let’s keep going.
